Where the enquiry relates to entering into or performing a contract or participation in an event, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. In other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
5. Online Registrations and Event Forms
We provide online registration forms for events, tournaments, courses and other activities organised by the Kärntner Eishockeyverband.
Depending on the event, the following information may be processed:
- club or team name
- first and last name
- date of birth
- place of birth
- email address
- telephone number
- postal address
- postcode and city
- country
- selected event or tournament category
- role within the club
- number of registered participants
- messages and comments
- other information required for the respective event
The data is processed for the organisation, administration and delivery of the respective event or registration.
The legal basis is generally Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Where processing is based on consent, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
6. Elementor Forms and Registration Storage
We use Elementor forms on our website.
Information submitted through these forms may be stored within our WordPress installation. The submitted information may also be sent by email to the responsible persons within the Kärntner Eishockeyverband.
This storage enables us to reliably process and document registrations and enquiries.
Data is retained only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention obligations.
7. Amelia Booking and Event Management
For certain events, appointments and bookings, we use the WordPress booking system Amelia.
Depending on the booking, the following information may be processed:
- first and last name
- email address
- telephone number
- booked event or service
- date and time
- additional information entered in the booking form
- booking and payment status
The information is processed for the administration and delivery of the respective booking or event.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
8. Payments via Stripe
For paid bookings and events, we may process payments through Stripe.
For users in the European Economic Area, the relevant Stripe entity is generally Stripe Payments Europe, Limited, Ireland.
When you select a Stripe payment method, information necessary to process the payment is transmitted to Stripe. This may include the payment amount, transaction information, name, email address and other information required for payment processing and fraud prevention.
Payment card and other payment information is processed by Stripe. We receive information concerning the payment and transaction status insofar as this is necessary to process your booking.
Processing for payment purposes is generally based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Stripe may also process information for fraud prevention and to comply with its legal obligations.
9. Matomo Web Analytics
We use Matomo to statistically analyse and improve our website.
Matomo is self-hosted by us and is operated through our installation at statistik.kehv.at. Website analytics data is therefore not transferred to an external Matomo Cloud service solely for analytics purposes.
Visitors‘ IP addresses are anonymised. Two bytes of the IP address are masked before further processing. The anonymised IP address is also used for subsequent processing of visit data.
Matomo enables us to analyse information such as page views, visit duration, devices and browsers used, sources of visits and navigation within our website.
Where consent is required for Matomo processing, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent can be withdrawn at any time via the cookie settings on our website.
10. Cookies and Consent Management with Complianz
Our website uses cookies and comparable technologies.
We use Complianz | GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent to manage consent.
Complianz allows visitors to accept or reject different categories of cookies and services and to subsequently change their choices.
Technically necessary cookies may be used without prior consent where permitted by law. Non-essential cookies and services requiring consent are activated only after consent has been provided.
Consent can be changed or withdrawn at any time through the cookie settings on our website.

12. YouTube
Videos from YouTube may be embedded on our website.
When a YouTube video is played, information may be transmitted to Google. Depending on your settings and whether you are signed in to a Google account, Google may associate this information with your account.
Where consent is required, YouTube content is loaded only after you have given your consent.
13. Social Media
The Kärntner Eishockeyverband maintains profiles on social media platforms.
When you follow a link to one of our social media profiles, you leave our website and the privacy policies of the respective platform operator apply.
Where social media content is embedded directly into our website, personal data may be transmitted to the respective provider after the necessary consent has been given.
14. Processing of Children’s and Young People’s Data
Some of our events and services are intended for children and young people.
Where personal data relating to minors is necessary for organising an event, we process only the information required for registration, organisation and delivery of that event.
Where the nature of the processing requires consent from a parent or legal guardian, the appropriate consent will be obtained.
15. Recipients of Personal Data
Within the Kärntner Eishockeyverband, access to personal data is limited to persons who require it to perform their respective duties.
Personal data may also be disclosed to technical service providers or processors where necessary to operate our website or provide the respective service.
For payment processing, information may be transmitted to payment service providers such as Stripe.
We do not disclose personal data to unrelated third parties for their own advertising purposes.
16. Retention Period
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose.
Statutory retention and documentation requirements may require certain information to be retained for longer periods.
When the purpose for processing no longer applies and there is no legal requirement to retain the information, the relevant personal data will be deleted or anonymised.
